Dear Jen:

Here in Puerto Rico, APEV (stands for: Puerto Rican Green Energy Association), is participating in the drafts for a new participatory rulling for the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rico Energy Public Authority (PREPA) elections.

Every other year, PREPA do a ballot that is deliver with the energy bill in a write-in proceadure.

Then as in a Casino, the ballots are mixed in an urn and be extracted four ballots: two (2) will be the citizen's representative to the board and two (understudies).

As you see, is a very undemocratic and underepublican proceadure by all standards.

APEV has been asked to sugest ammendments to the rule.

Can you help with copy of the ruling for citizen's participation in regulatory advicory committees and/or boards in the energy/sewage/water authorities at Boulder?

Please share this with as many as you think.

Our e-mail:
apev@onelinkpr.net

Best regards:

Hi Jennifer,
Recycle A Tee is an online, vertically integrated, green apparel company. We want to make it easy for everyone to go green. Historically, making green choices required deeper pockets than many people have had. We do not believe that should remain the case. It still costs more for us to manufacture and produce clothing in a sustainable way, but we have chosen to absorb those extra costs so that anyone who wants to contribute to building a more sustainable society can do so. This concept is the origin of our motto: Organic Cotton for All. We truly do absorb the extra costs. Rather than passing the costs along in the form of additional shipping and handling charges (as many companies do), we have decided to go even further and will pay for all shipping charges (your purchases on this site, and your recycle returns).

Each and every one of us at Recycle A Tee are committed to a green lifestyle, both personally and professionally. It was, therefore, natural for our company to be founded upon, and built around, a sustainable philosophy. Recycling lies at the heart of our company. We believe in recycling everything that can be recycled, and want to make apparel recycling the norm.

Hi Jennifer - thanks for the post. My company does a lot of work in the IT field and I am building up a lot of awareness in the Green Computer niche. The most common Green IT projects we do are server virtualization (taking 1 physical computer and running multiple virtual machines on it), but there are many other areas smaller companies can do now - replacing surge strips and battery backup devices with newer units (which can often be cheaper than a replacement battery after the rebate for the new unit), and adjusting the airflow in a room to remove heat rather than try to continually cool the room.

Hi Jennifer,

Actually, I now live in Thailand and EcoMundo in Baja has been retired, same as me. You can Google, EcoMundo and or Roy Mahoff and learn a little about it. I truly love Thailand and the people here and I have made it my goal to help Thailand to free itself (Thailand means Free Land), of foreign energy imports and make Algae Spoons.

Hi Jennifer,

It is fun to connect with another person who lived in Alaska and who loves Franklin Covey! :-) I am a big fan of FC and looked at their online planner. I wish it was software I could use on my Mac for those times I am not online.

I am very excited about being a part of this group. So THANK YOU!
