Holiday consumerism is in the air. The commercials have already started for the Religious holidays. It is a time to keep our Green hats on and think Green! There are a many many ways to Green your holiday and help out the environment! You don't have to give up Holiday giving or Cheer to go Green. It can be fun and rewarding to find new and innovative ways to have an Eco Holiday season. Green living spans way beyond Green Products, recycling or alternative energy. To me Green Living is a way of life and a way of being.… Continue

Mosquito's are food for many other cre… Continue

Spring is near time to think about growing Organic Veggies! Bugs anyone?

I love working in my yard. I love getting my hands in the soil and planting and watching it grow. We work very hard to keep our land free of pesticides and chemicals. Even our pool has Eco pool treatment. When this time of year rolls around every year I order the beneficial insects and put the egg pouches outside to hatch. It is so fun to watch and more fun to not have to use chemicals to keep your house and yard free of pesty insects. Lady bugs and praying mantis are what we use. Keep in mind t… Continue

Green Phones

I purchased my first Eco Friendly phone this weekend. I'm excited to see these on the market. I've noticed that more and more electronics are becoming Green. This is exciting news. "no chemicals" were listed on my phone box, I'm researching what that means exactly. It has 100% Energy Star Cert., No Styrofoam used in packaging and 30% less packaging material. It has Ni-MH battery that is recyclable. Still curious as to what the label No Chemicals Used means. Contacted manufacturer and waiting. Mo… Continue
